Where Have I Been?

It has been a while since my last post and some of you may be wondering where I've gone. I haven't disappeared through a portal or stopped blogging for good, which is a good thing (hopefully.)

I've been super busy with a few things...

I've decided to write a book series. It's something I've always dreamed of doing and recently I've been feeling really motivated to try and persevere with this. I have gotten into the flow of reading books again and upon discovering Cassandra Clare's writing advice on her website, I decided to start outlining the plot and some of the main characters in my first book. I really hope I can stay motivated until the very end and come up with something amazing. I really like the idea of a fantasy-adventure kind of story and I've started working on some ideas for the plot. Eek! I'm so excited to finish planning the book! I'm really loving Cassandra Clare's books at the moment and I really like her style of writing.

I also have two science tests this week and a huge stressful exam next week. I have been revising and writing notes but have a couple of module to revise for still. These next couple of months will be quite busy for me as I have a language speaking exam too. I will definitely be preparing for that as well. This is my desk right now 😂:

I have always wanted to be an author. I would love to know something that you have never done but always dreamed of doing in the comments. What is one of your ambitions?

Time To Read

If you've been reading my blog posts you may already know that I absolutely adore getting lost in a really great story and being transported into another world. I like watching TV and films too and one movie I am really looking forward to watching is Marvel's Captain America: Civil War. I can't wait to see what happens. I'm so excited. "Whose side are you on?" 😱

I'm so excited to read Girl Online On Tour. The first book was adorable. I loved the story and the cute details. The characters were realistic and and I can't wait to read on to see what happens next! I also have Username Evie to read soon and I think it looks like a really great graphic novel. It will be quite different to reading but I'm sure it will be just as enjoyable.

The Mortal Instruments
I've recently been obsessing over Cassandra Clare's The Mortal Instruments and I'm LOVING the books soooo much. I'm almost finished City of Glass and that made me laugh and feel so emotional. I think it's the best book so far out of the three I've read already. I can't wait to start City of Fallen Angels and I'm sure Cassie Clare will have so many more surprises in store like she always does! 😉 Cassandra Clare uses some beautiful quotes in her books too. These books will make you cry (if not on the outside, on the inside!) and laugh and smile too.

Excuse me while I lose myself in the last pages of City of Glass!
