I've seen a few of these posts around and am loving them all! I love seeing what films other people are loving at the moment and comparing them to my favourites. I love watching films at this time of year especially. There are some great ones on TV now too. I am looking forward to watching traditional programmes like The Snowman, The Snowman and The Snowdog Father Christmas. In no particular order, my favourite Christmas movies are...

Home Alone

The Nightmare Before Christmas

Mickey's Christmas Carol

Arthur Christmas

The Polar Express

How The Grinch Stole Christmas

The Muppets Christmas Carol

What's your favourite Christmas Film?

Wintery Watercolours

gathered some of my favourite Winter stamps and used watercolour paints-ooh and Stickles for added glitter and sparkle! I love using watercolour more than acrylic paint as it dries almost instantly. I love the mittens and the cute foxes, they've got to be my favourites from this page. You would not believe how long it took it me to finish painting all the pictures and the Santoro's Gorjuss girl with the hedgehog and mushrooms was quite tricky!

Which stamp is your favourite?

It's December and winter has finally arrived!! For me, this means my Birthday is coming up! I love having hot chocolate with marshmallows and wearing cosy socks watching movies. For a few years, I have been doing Secret Santa with my classmates. It not really secret as everyone always end up knowing who is getting them a present!

Last year, I got incredibly lucky and received my first Lush product! It was the Christmas bubble bar Holly GoLightly. View it on the Lush website here! It has cinnamon in it which gives it a LOVELY smell! I also got chocolate. Mmm...
I then bought a second product from Lush and this time it was a bath bomb: Northern Lights! The colours were amazing and beautiful ❤️

What do you look forward to in December?

Some you may already know, and others you might not. Hope you enjoy these blogs as much I do! I admire all of the bloggers mentioned. Most of them have been blogging for a few years and have quite a bit of experience!

Yummy In My Tummy

I don't know about you, but I LOVE chocolate. Especially at this time of year! People purchase these little goodies as a quick and easy but delicious present. Recently, I have been receiving LOTS of chocolate and treats as I was in hospital for a few days and am recovering now. I'm starting to build up a collection of chocolate boxes! My favourite chocolate is the Lindt bear with a heart around its neck. Have you ever had it before?
You can treat yourself from time to time and maybe soon you will be enjoying one of these chocolates!

 What's your favourite chocolate?

Cupcakes With Glacé Icing

If you're not familiar with glacé icing, it is when you add water to icing sugar and is very different to buttercream icing. I usually make buttercream icing when I bake, but I decided to use the quicker option to be able to savour these little goodies for teatime. I made vanilla cupcakes and in the cake mixture I added sprinkles which melted and made the sponge colourful inside! I'm not an expert on baking  yet (haha!) but like to bake little things from time to time. I've made red-velvet cake and macaroons with the help of another adult but I made this on my own. I've also baked triple-chocolate cookies before.
These cupcakes do look a tiny bit plain but they were sooooo delicious even without sprinkles scattered on top!

Have you ever baked cupcakes before? How did they turn out?

7 Things To Do In The Holidays

I will be having time off school this week, as it's the half-term holiday! Here are my favourite activities to do in my holidays. I hope you feel inspired to make the next holiday more exciting! I've got quite a lot of work to complete but will be determined to enjoy my time. I'm sure to be playing the game Dragon City and if you're looking for an app to download on an ios device, I recommend this app. It is also available on androids. You hatch, feed and battle your dragons.

1.  Plan a Day Out
It's the most obvious yet a good day out could make all the difference. A change of scenery is definitely needed in a week-long rest at home.
I would recommend a trip to the famous 'Westfield' shopping centre in Stratford. If you're looking for even more excitement then you may want to visit the Sealife Aquarium and Madame Tussuards in Westminster. The London Eye and London Dungeons are very close by. You'll most definitely love it over there.

2. Learn a New Skill
What is it that you've always wanted to learn? Scuba-diving? Ice-skating? Swimming? Nothing is impossible. The trick is to set yourself an achievable, realistic goal. Make sure that you have someone more experienced assisting you and practice, practice, practice! As the saying goes: practice makes perfect! Good luck!

3. Bake
Mmm...I can just smell freshly baked cupcakes! If you are feeling ambitious you could attempt to make macaroons-they're delicious and one of my favourite bakes, along with cookies! You can always watch YouTube videos for inspiration.

4. Read a Book
Around this time of year, I just love getting cozy by the fire with a good book. My favourite books are the Ruby Redfort series by Lauren Child, the Divergent Trioligy by Veronica Roth and Girl Online by Zoe Sugg. I could read them over and over! USERNAME EVIE looks extremely cool and I am looking forward to reading my first ever graphic novel. Do you prefer graphic novels to ordinary books? I would love to know what you think.

5. Write a Story
If you're really into books you may be thinking about writing your own story. I have always dreamed about publishing my own stories but never got round to finishing a whole novel. You'll need a lotta time to complete this and it will test your patience. I think it's worth it at the end, seeing your work in stores around your area. Keep going and you might just become the next J.K. Rowling!

6. Re-decorate Your Bedroom
It's seems like a big task but you don't need to make a huge fuss. Clear out the little nic-nacks that you don't need and them you are ready to add personal touches. I love the idea of fairy lights around bed frames and cute cushions scattered on the bed. If you would like to change the colours in your room, make sure you have the supervision and help of an adult! For more ideas click here!

7. Watch a New Film/ TV Series
If you haven't already, check out Pretty Little Liars and The Hunger Games Series. You may even be lucky enough to attend the premiere of Mockingjay: Part Two on November 5th!

Why Autumn is Awesome

The leaves are falling and it's the perfect time to complete a quick sketch or painting of a landscape. Bury yourself in a fluffy blanket and watch your favourite film (I totally and strongly recommend any of the Marvel movies!) There's so much to enjoy, just take a moment to think about something you really loved last October or what you can look forward to this season.

What's your favourite time of year?
